Ti chaandani, yeta nabhi,
Tya bhavya kamaani khaali bheten mi.
I felt that this kind of modern melody was missing in marathi; It definitely brings a nice touch to the play. A definite air of freshness does flow through the viewer's senses. The particular play, in between, is an adaptation of Shakespeare's "A midsummer night's dream" by Ratnakar Matkari.
Some other songs from the play are also nice.
Vedi jhaale Pishi jhaale mi premat, mi premat!
Buduniya paar gele mi premat, mi premat!
I think its about the simplicity of thought. Love being so simple, is soothing.
The next song which I think should be part of this list, my list :), is from the film "Yanda Kartavya aahe" filmed on Ankush Chaudhari. Nothing much to say about the film, didnt see it much, dont think its that fabulous.
Kadhi dur dur, Kadhi tu samor,
Man haravate aaj ka.
Ka he ase, Vhave ase,
Hi aas lage jiva.
Kase savru re, avru re, mi svatahla
Dise swapn ka he jaagtana hi mala
Aabhaas ha , aabhas ha, chhalto tula, chalto mala...
aabhaas ha, aabhas ha....
The song is picturised very similar to "Tujhe dekha to ye jaana sanam" from DDLJ.
